David’s a Head of VAT and Partner of our Leicester, Milton Keynes, Northampton, and Southampton offices.
Leading our VAT and customs advisory services, he advises CFOs, FDs, and business owners on critical issues where practical solutions need to be found and successfully implemented.

A commercial advisor with over 40 years’ experience, David’s built strong relationships across many sectors. Owner managed businesses and high-net worth individuals trust David’s advice and guidance, and his client base rely on him as a dependable, expert sounding board.

Mike started as an accountant in 1974, and has been a Chartered Accountant since 1980 as well as in practice since 1982.
During that time, he’s built up many long-standing client relationships and has advised clients throughout their business development.

Danny Porter is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and a Partner at TC Group. He has been with the firm for over 18 years, developing extensive experience in supporting businesses through every stage of their growth and development.
Danny is passionate about working with owner-managed businesses and building long-term relationships with clients. Throughout his career, he has provided a broad range of compliance, financial reporting and strategic advisory services to owner-managed businesses, large corporates, international groups, charities and not-for-profit organisations. His practical and commercially focused approach enables him to deliver advice that helps clients make informed decisions and achieve their objectives.
As a technologically aware and client-focused adviser, Danny is committed to helping businesses embrace innovation and improve efficiency, while ensuring they continue to meet their financial and regulatory obligations. He works closely with clients to understand their ambitions, challenges and opportunities, providing trusted support and strategic insight as their businesses evolve.
Outside of work, Danny enjoys spending quality time with his wife and young daughters and can often be found on the golf course whenever the opportunity arises.

He’s worked in the industry for over 10 years with a focus on fulfilling the varied Service Charge accounting requirements of residential and commercial landlords, management companies, and managing agents.

Claire works with a diverse range of businesses, providing accountancy, tax and business advisory services. As a Fellow of the ACCA with more than 30 years’ experience with the firm, she combines technical expertise with a highly personal approach to client relationships, helping businesses stay compliant, understand their financial position and make informed decisions. Claire works closely with individuals and owner-managed businesses to develop practical, tax-efficient solutions that help them achieve their personal and commercial goals.
For clients looking to move to digital accounting, Claire offers support with the selection, set up and use of the most suitable software for their specific needs. By combining timely financial insight with expertise and practical advice, she can help business owners achieve clarity, take control and plan confidently for their future.

Neil’s a Partner in the Leeds office with over 20 years of experience in providing audit and accountancy services to a wide range of clients of varying sizes and levels of complexity, ranging from owner-managed businesses to international PE-backed groups.
Neil primarily works in the SME sector but also has significant experience in providing statutory audit and other compliance-related services to academies and not-for-profit organisations.
Although specialising in the provision of audit services, Neil provides a helpful and prompt approach to a range of compliance matters that considers the business needs as a whole and focuses on delivering high-quality client service.
