Jay’s an experienced R&D Tax Associate Director, specialising in developing customised claim processes. He thrives in the overlap between Legislation, Finance and Technology, and leverages this to put forward robust innovation incentive projects.
Jay trained as Aeronautical Engineer working on various R&D Projects in Boeing, Airbus & Rolls Royce. Pivoted to the Energy Industry & Research, eventually selling a Start-Up Company & IP to large Manufacturer.

He leads and oversees audits of varying sizes, ranging from single entities to complex group structures. Thriving on the methodical nature of audit, he works diligently with clients across various industries.

Shiran joined the firm as an Audit RI after spending over a decade working at a Top 10 firm advising SME’s and large international organisations. Shiran prides himself on providing exceptional support in audit, financial accounting and business planning and in providing management advice on an extensive range of commercial and compliance issues.
Outside of work, Shiran’s a keen health enthusiast who has a particular interest in how exercise and diet impact general wellbeing and performance.
Adam Blewitt

Adam’s a part qualified accountant with over four years of experience in accounts. Adam’s career has seen him progressing to the level of Accounts Senior at the TC Group Nottingham.

Connor’s AAT qualified, with several years’ experience working within accountancy and audit having worked in a variety of different sectors, from larger groups to charities.
Alison Cox
Payroll Manager
Alison gained many years Payroll and HR experience working in the airline, hospitality, retail and construction industries before joining the firm in October 2012 to manage our Payroll Bureau.
Alison’s an Assoc CIPD and provides end-to-end payroll services to a broad spectrum of clients.
Jenny Neal
Office Manager
Jenny’s our Office Manager and has worked with the firm for over fifteen years.
Her role involves managing the day to day running of the admin team and ensuring the timely processing off all correspondence, handling client calls and emails, meeting and greeting clients at the office along with all other administration duties.
Laura-Anne Phillips
Accounts Assistant
Laura-Anne studied Mathematics at the University of Sheffield, before joining the firm she worked in industry and is currently working her way through her exams to achieve her goal of becoming a fully qualified accountant.
Claire Porter
Accounts Semi-Senior
Claire’s an AAT qualified accountant with several years’ experience of working in practice. Her ambition is to continue her studies and become ACA qualified in the coming years.
During her time in Practice, Claire assisted a diverse range of clients including preparing sole trader to limited company accounts, company and personal tax returns and VAT returns.
Amelia Lockie
Accounts Semi-Senior
Amelia’s ACCA and MAAT qualified and has worked in practice since 2017. She currently assists in the preparation of accounts for sole-traders, partnerships and limited companies as well as calculating corporation tax and VAT.
Howard Ashton

Howard’s FCCA qualified with over twenty years’ experience in accountancy and taxation. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience dealing with a range of SME’s, providing practical hands on advice to help them cope with the pressures of running a successful business.
