TC Group adds a new office in Portishead, West Bristol

TC has expanded its presence in England through a merger with Portishead based Leslie Dark & Co.

The merger brings an additional 10 staff into TC and provides the group with a new location in North Somerset and continues the group’s expansion into the Bristol market.

TC has significantly grown over the last three years with offices across the South East, South West, Midlands and East Yorkshire, and recently became the first UK accountancy firm to offer a full range of investment, mortgage, legal and HR advice.

This latest merger again consolidates TC’s official position as the UK’s fastest-growing Top 50 accountancy firm.

Founded in 1972, Leslie Dark & Co have extensive experience in advising owners of small and medium-sized businesses on all aspects of their business, taxation and financial affairs. With clients ranging in size from small sole trades right through to medium size companies (turnover in excess of £40m) where a full statutory audit is required. Partners, Amanda Kruger and David Wragg, are delighted to join TC and the prospect of offering clients an expanded set of services.

David said: ‘We feel that this merger reflects an exciting step forward for the firm. The range of services that will now be available to our clients is impressive and will be delivered in an efficient and friendly way that our clients have come to expect.’

Amanda added: ‘We are delighted to be joining the TC Group. We have a shared vision for the quality of service that we can offer our clients, both in accounting and other business-related services.

The TC Group will be a fantastic platform from which to support our clients and it will provide opportunities for our talented staff as we continue with our growth strategy.’

Commented TC’s COO, Grant Bartholomew: ‘Leslie Dark & Co is a firm that has built a reputation in North Somerset through their passion for helping clients to excel, being responsive to their needs and by consistently delivering value.

‘By joining TC they have significantly boosted our ability to service clients across in the South West and reflects perfectly our strategy of seeking like-minded firms with whom to merge.

‘We are also very grateful to Simon Norton at www.bristolbusinessbrokers.co.uk who recognised the potential synergy between our firms, and helped us to navigate our way past several obstacles to complete the deal.’
