Pharmachic’s a small but ambitious international distributor of medical aesthetic products. Headquartered in Malta and operating a UK warehouse in Manchester, the business works exclusively B2B, supplying their goods to wholesale partners and professionals around the globe.

The company’s tightly regulated by the Maltese Medicines Authority and so must meet strict international standards – both operationally and financially. When Pharmachic began planning its UK operations, it was little more than an idea.

Today, they have a physical warehouse, robust accounting systems, and full operational infrastructure – all built with TC’s help.

“We needed support with everything; setting up payroll schemes, navigating UK tax law, choosing accounting software, preparing VAT returns, and understanding recharging processes to Malta,” says Maria Consuelo Assistant at Pharmachic.

“TC Group essentially helped us create our entire infrastructure from scratch.”

From company formation and Xero software setup to Corporation Tax preparation, company secretarial duties and international customs advice, TC Group’s involvement’s been end-to-end.

The Property Services team were even called in to support the lease agreement and handle complex rate negotiations with the local council, including responding swiftly to HMRC Valuation Office requests.

EYES ON EXPANSION

Pharmachic’s now laying the groundwork to expand its UK operations. With a UK warehouse already active and a new employee hired to support growing demand, the next step’s broader distribution – potentially including exclusive product launches in the UK.

“We do really well with our botox product line and are the official distributor for the FDA-approved anti-wrinkle, Letybo. It’s not yet in the UK – but we plan to bring it here,” says Maria.

“And we know we’ll only achieve these plans with TC Group by our side.”
