By translating financial information into clear, meaningful insights, Danielle helps clients gain a better understanding of their business performance and future potential. Having joined the firm as a trainee straight from school, Danielle now particularly enjoys the advisory side of accountancy, supporting clients with strategic planning and long-term growth. She has a particular interest in identifying opportunities, improving profitability and supporting long-term investment planning.

Danielle is also passionate about digital accounting and enjoys helping businesses embrace cloud-based software such as Xero. Her ability to simplify complex accounting processes helps clients improve efficiency, accuracy and visibility over their finances.

When she’s not working, Danielle will be running or dancing – she has practised ballet since childhood. Danielle shares her home with her family and Rhea, a very vocal and dramatic Bengal-cross cat.

Ben is Head of Financial Insight at our Peterborough office. His speciality is implementing cloud accounting tools and management reporting software to give visibility of accurate and current numbers, cash flow and performance. He’s the office TC Live Accounting™ specialist, and the up-to-date financial information his team provides is essential in helping owners make confident decisions based on what is happening in their business right now.
This real-time insight helps identify risks and opportunities early, reduces stress and allows owners to take control of their business while we take care of the numbers.
A massive football fan and dedicated Pompey supporter, Ben splits his time between Peterborough and Portsmouth.

Poonam’s a Client Relationship Partner who brings over 20 years of audit, corporate finance and industry experience to the recruitment businesses she supports.

Having qualified as an accountant within audit and assurance, Poonam moved into corporate finance before spending the rest of her career working exclusively within the recruitment sector. She started at Hamilton Bradshaw, before moving to Spencer Ogden where she led the finance function through a period of rapid growth and international expansion. She then joined Milestone Operations, where she led the due diligence and legal sale of the Company to Staffline PLC.

Her deep sector expertise comes from founding and running Azuki Accounts, a back-office specialist for the recruitment industry, which merged with Recruitment Accountants in 2026. Poonam regularly shares her expertise at networking events and webinars, drawing on her own experience of having sat in the finance seat within recruitment businesses to help owners make sense of the numbers.

Jennie brings extensive experience helping businesses navigate restructuring projects, succession planning and ownership transitions, while also adding valuable expertise in SDLT and other complex advisory areas. Jennie is ATT and CTA qualified and has recently achieved the prestigious Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) qualification, further enhancing her expertise in cross-border tax matters.
Simon Young

Simon’s an experienced Business Advisory Chartered Accountant. Throughout his career, Simon has always worked in SMEs or on them as their accountant. In 2012, he took the step of establishing his own accountancy practice and grew it until it became of a size where he felt that TC Group was the natural home to continue to look after his clients, allowing him time to focus 100% on clients and their needs.

Simon has experience in both accounting and taxation of numerous different sectors, including the media, companies involved in international trade and companies that use AI and technology. As part of this, Simon knows the importance of looking after the tax needs of the owners of these businesses. He can see the bigger picture but also can focus on the detail, advising clients on how to structure their business and implementing and running those plans. He also has extensive experience of small charities.
