James is an Associate Partner and qualified accountant with nearly 20 years of experience supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
He specialises in financial reporting, tax planning, and business advisory, with a particular focus on cloud accounting and leveraging technological advances to streamline operations and improve decision-making.

With a 16-year background in practice, Elliott specialises in advising SMEs. His clients include businesses in hospitality, property, and consultancy.
Elliott focuses on building strong relationships and delivering tailored financial solutions.

Partner
David’s based in Edinburgh and is a Partner at TC Group. With over 20 years’ experience, David specialises in working with charities and small businesses.
David’s a registered Auditor with a portfolio of audit clients throughout Scotland as well as providing accounting, advisory and support services to a variety of organisations. He’s also a Trustee of a national music charity working with disabled artists.
Tax Partner
Carole’s a Tax Partner with over 25 years’ experience advising clients on the tax implications of a broad range of commercial issues including restructuring, transaction planning and succession, balancing the needs and objectives of the business with the aspirations of its owners.
Looking after a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and private clients, Carole deals with all aspects of private client and company taxation and has also developed specialisms in the Creative Industries Tax Reliefs and HMRC Investigations and Disclosures.

Allison specialises in the delivery of external audit, accountancy and Virtual Finance Director (VFD) services across a range of sectors. With a keen interest in advising not-for-profit organisations and owner-managed businesses, Allison combines technical expertise built up over 25 years with genuine care for the people behind each organisation – offering practical advice that makes a real difference.
Friendly and approachable, Allison takes pride in building strong, long-term relationships with clients. She enjoys helping business owners, leadership teams & Trustees make sense of their finances, turning complex figures into clear insights that support confident decision-making and strong financial governance.

Steven specialises in both external and internal Audit. He’s amassed a wealth of experience in a range of sectors including Credit Unions, investment companies and Housing Associations.
Steven’s also served as a committee member on both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland’s (ICAS) Accounting Standards Committee and their Investigation Committee. He’s the technical lead at TC Alexander Sloan.

Kevin provides Audit and general Accounts compliance services to a diverse client base operating all over the UK. His extensive experience allows him to provide business advice to his clients and assist them in strategic planning and development.
He believes it’s important to maintain close contact with his clients throughout the year to ensure he has a deep understanding of their issues.
Kevin was previously Chair of the ACCA Scotland Committee.

Danni’s an Associate Director based in the Portsmouth Northarbour office. She’s a Chartered Accountant with 15 years’ experience in professional practice.
Danni’s client portfolio ranges from small sole traders to medium size companies requiring an audit and she prides herself on providing a friendly and professional client experience.
Audit Senior
Toby joins our Derby office as an Audit Senior, bringing a proactive and client-focused approach to the team, with experience in owner-managed and not-for-profit organisations. Toby is AAT qualified and nearing the end of his ACA studies.
With over six years’ experience gained with medium-sized practices, Toby has developed a practical understanding of the industry and a keen eye for detail. He’s enthusiastic about expanding his expertise and contributing to the continued success of our team.
Associate Partner
David’s an Associate Partner in our Consett office specialising in limited company clients across a broad range of industries, including construction and property.
He’s an advocate of Xero accounting software to assist business owners in making time efficiencies and supports them with cloud accounting solutions.
Associate Director
Nasser’s ACA qualified and has worked at TC Group for over 10 years, starting off as an audit trainee and working up to his current role as Associate Director.
Nasser specialises in delivering accountancy and audit services to owner managed businesses across varying sectors including construction, freight, manufacturing and technology.
He prides himself on working hand-in-hand with his clients to make the audit process as smooth as possible, ensuring open and transparent communication throughout and is always is looking for ways to add value.
Outside of work he’s a regular gym go-er and enjoys spending time with his young family.
