Meet the team

Suzanne joined Moorhead Hall & Co in 2002. She passed her Final Admitting Examination in 2007 and is an Associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.

Arleen is an Associate Director and has been part of the TC Group’s Lisburn team since 2003. She’s responsible for the preparation of accounts and compliance for the firm’s non-audit clients. Arleen’s a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and has a wealth of experience in providing bespoke and practical business advice for businesses and individuals across a range of industry sectors.

Paul is a Tax Associate Director at TC Group’s Belfast office. Having been part of the Belfast team since 1997, Paul is one of the firm’s longest-serving and most experienced tax advisers. Paul advises on personal, employer and business tax and has particular specialisms in HMRC enquiries and investigations, capital gains tax and the construction industry scheme. He is also a Fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians.

Nigel joined the firm as a Trainee Chartered Accountant in 2001 was appointed as a Director of Audit and Business Services for the Belfast office in 2019. Nigel has overall service responsibility for a large and diverse portfolio of clients, which includes SME businesses, charities, clubs and other organisations covering a wide range of business sectors. A vastly experienced expert in financial reporting, accounting, auditing and the provision of business advice, Nigel has specific expertise on charity accounting and reporting and has lectured to Chartered Accountants Ireland and regularly presents on the subject.

Gill is a Director of Audit and Business Advisory Services for the Northern Ireland offices and heads up the Group’s Portadown office. An experienced accountant and business advisor, Gill has responsibility for a diverse client portfolio that includes SME businesses, charities, clubs and organisations across a wide range of business sectors. She has particular expertise and experience in a wide range of financial topics relating to SME accounting, taxation and business growth, and works with business owners to help them take control of their finances and achieve their growth objectives.

Stephen is a Director of Audit and Business Advisory Services and heads up the Group’s Lisburn office. Stephen specialises in the delivery of external audit and accountancy services across a range of sectors. With a keen interest in advising not-for profit organisations and owner managed business, Stephen combines technical expertise built up over 25 years with a genuine care for the people behind each organisation.

Paul has been a senior member of the firm’s Forensic Accounting and Investigation team for more than a decade, which has included a central role in helping the team retain its position as one of the leading providers of litigation support services to the legal sector in Northern Ireland. He has regularly been at the forefront of some of the most complex cases in this jurisdiction. Paul’s expertise has seen him work with legal teams and their clients across various disciplines of forensic accounting and he now oversees a wide range of commercial litigation and matrimonial matters.

Lyn leads TC Group’s Northern Ireland tax team and has considerable expertise in ensuring the quality delivery of Tax & VAT specialist knowledge across a broad spectrum of business and personal taxes. Lyn specialises in advising on corporate and property transactions; reorganisations; succession planning; HMRC disputes and investigations; and inheritance tax and estate planning. Lyn also has extensive experience and interest in VAT consultancy. Lyn regularly delivers presentations to professional bodies and businesses across a range of sectors and is a Member of the CAI Northern Ireland Tax Committee and a Member of the UK VAT Practitioners Group.

Gabriel heads up TC Group’s Forensic Accounting and Investigation team in Northern Ireland. A highly experienced Expert Witness and Forensic Accountant, Gabriel specialises in the quantification of claims for loss of earnings, pension and other benefits arising from personal injury claims, with particular experience with those involving catastrophic injuries. His role has seen him work on some of the largest and most complex financial crime and proceeds of crime cases in Northern Ireland, a number of which have included multi-jurisdiction aspects. Gabriel also manages a varied portfolio of commercial dispute and professional negligence cases. He’s delivered technical update presentations for a range of professional bodies including Chartered Accountants Ireland, the Law Society of Northern Ireland, the Bar Council and Solicitors Associations across Northern Ireland.

Susan is the managing partner of TC Group’s Northern Ireland practice, which comprises offices in Belfast, Lisburn and Portadown. A highly experienced chartered accountant and business advisor, Susan has been instrumental in overseeing the continued growth and development of the Group’s Northern Ireland offices since becoming managing partner in 2020. Susan has overall service responsibility for a large and diverse portfolio of clients, which includes corporates, SME businesses, charities, clubs and other organisations across a wide range of business sectors.

Eugene’s an Associate Director with over 20 years’ experience in accountancy and taxation, specialising in corporate and shareholder tax advisory, with particular expertise in business reorganisations, acquisitions and disposals, succession planning and ownership restructuring. Eugene works closely with owner-managed businesses, shareholders and corporate groups, helping them navigate complex tax matters and make informed commercial decisions. His approach combines technical expertise with practical, commercially focused advice, supporting clients through the key stages of business growth, restructuring and ownership transition.
