We have an exciting opportunity for a Semi Senior Accountant and Bookkeeper in our Colchester office.  Key responsibilities are:

  • accounts production for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
  • preparation of tax computations
  • all aspects of bookkeeping
  • dealing with management accounts and VAT returns
  • dealing with client queries as and when they arise
  • on site work at clients
  • management of own work and assignments to deadlines and within budget
  • delivering excellent client service

Knowledge & Experience:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified or part qualified
  • minimum 2 years working in practice
  • experience in Sage, Xero, CCH accounts production preferable
  • excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate excel skills as a minimum
  • highly personable with excellent communication skills
  • positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • must have own car and full driving licence
