We now have an exciting opportunity for a part time In-house recruiter reporting to the Head of HR and Recruitment in our Portsmouth Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • working closely with the Head of HR and Recruitment and partners to understand current and predicted recruitment demand. Agree a delivery plan against open vacancies.
  • working closely with the Head of HR and Recruitment to deliver innovative sourcing initiatives tailored to target market. Focus on building network to increase penetration of target markets.
  • understanding TC local office objectives in order to prioritise sourcing strategy and build pipelines for future needs.
  • delivering an exceptional candidate experience through the creation of job descriptions and adverts, information sharing with candidates and understanding the motivation of your target audience.
  • advertising job openings on careers pages, job boards and social networks (eg LinkedIn).
  • screening CVs and applications and conduct first stage telephone interviews.
  • providing feedback to the Head of HR and Recruitment and partners on recruitment best practice, source mix, competitor activity and market trends.
  • managing the offer process for new recruits.
  • participate in job fairs to boost company’s reputation.
  • keeping up to date with any relevant employment legislation and considering the impact for TC.

The Successful Candidate:

  • minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a previous in-house recruiter, ideally gained within a professional services team
  • understanding and experience of working with the complexities of recruiting specialist markets
  • experience of successfully managing a diverse group of stakeholders often with conflicting requirements
  • seen as an effective and persuasive communicator who seeks insight into the business and acts as an expert adviser
  • understands and champions the importance of data integrity, timely and accurate reporting and uses this information to run efficient processes
  • demonstrates innovation in approach to problem solving and delivering service
  • collaborative team player who seeks continuous improvement from self
  • strong networker with excellent market knowledge
  • adapts well to an ever changing landscape, demonstrates resilience, flexibility and energy
  • commercially minded with a focus on the business aims
  • experience of recruiting volume campaigns as well as unique roles
  • highly organised and confident in approach
  • excellent IT skills, including a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • willingness to work as an integral part of a busy team
  • positive work ethic
