Action is required today and tomorrow to comply with changes to the furlough scheme if you have not already acted.
As previously communicated, the furlough scheme will be closed to new entrants on 30th June. Therefore, in order to be eligible and have a minimum of three weeks on furlough, employees will need to be furloughed by 10th June at the latest. To meet these deadlines, you must have this in place by the close of play tomorrow (Tuesday 9th June).
Further details on the new rules will be available on Friday 12th June. As always, we will provide commentary and guidance when we know more.
