Our Portsmouth office have an opportunity for a Call Handler to join the central administration team. An entry level position, this is an excellent stepping stone to start a career with one of the fastest growing Top 40 UK accountancy firms.

Key responsibilities are:

  • answering telephone calls including taking and passing on messages quickly and efficiently
  • providing an excellent standard of customer service to all external and internal clients
  • taking personal ownership and responsibility for resolving enquiries from clients promptly
  • communicating effectively with internal and external clients by telephone, email or in writing in a clear, concise and polite manner
  • booking meetings
  • taking client payments over the telephone
  • front of house and reception cover
  • providing administration assistance as and when required

 

You will often be the first person that clients make contact with so you are always representing the Company.  This role is integral in helping us meet our agreed aims and objectives within a profitable, professional, efficient and effective working environment.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Maths, grade 4 or above
  • professional telephone manner
  • excellent IT skills
  • accuracy and attention to detail
  • highly personable with excellent organisational and communication skills
