We have an exciting opportunity for either a part time or full time, Accounts and Audit Senior in our Henley-on-Thames office.  Key responsibilities are:

  • prepare statutory accounts, draft tax computations, and consolidations
  • management of own work and assignments to deadlines and within budget
  • responsible for audit work with client turnover up to £100m
  • ability to identify, research and analyse accounting/audit issues and propose solutions
  • supervise small teams
  • work closely with the audit partner and audit manager
  • complete audit testing on site at clients’ premises
  • apply professional scepticism and judgment to audit work
  • maintain audit quality standards as required by Audit Regulations and TC internal policies
  • pro-active dedication to professional growth through training and experience opportunities
  • deliver excellent client service
  • support the growth of the Henley-on-Thames office

Knowledge & Experience:

  • newly qualified ACA or ACCA, or part qualified with relevant experience
  • minimum 2 years working in practice
  • significant client facing audit experience, including group audits
  • excellent technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
  • experience of using audit software and statutory accounts software
  • excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate excel skills as a minimum.
  • highly personable with excellent communication skills
  • positive ‘can do’ attitude
  • must have own car and full driving licence.
