We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior in our West Bristol office.
Key responsibilities are:
- split of role is 60% audit and 40% accounting
- prepare statutory accounts and draft tax computations
- assist with the planning and delivery of audit engagements
- complete audit testing on site at clients’ premises
- analyse accounting/audit issues and propose solutions
- apply professional scepticism
- maintain audit quality standards as required by Audit Regulations and TC internal policies
- pro-active dedication to professional growth through training and experience opportunities
- deliver excellent client service
- management of own work and assignments to deadlines and within budget with support of your line manager
- work closely with the audit partners and audit managers
- support the growth of the West Bristol office
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- part qualified ACA or ACCA with relevant practice experience
- audit experience from assisting with planning, undertaking detailed fieldwork, an assisting with initial completion of the audit file
- confident and experience in dealing direct with client
- accounting knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102, (some charity accounts/audit knowledge would be preferable, additional training can be provided if required)
- experience of statutory accounts software and using audit software – CCH and Xero preferable
- excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate excel skills as a minimum.
- highly personable with excellent communication skills
