We have an exciting opportunity for an Audit and Accounts Semi-Senior in our West Bristol office.

Key responsibilities are:

  • split of role is 60% audit and 40% accounting
  • prepare statutory accounts and draft tax computations
  • assist with the planning and delivery of audit engagements
  • complete audit testing on site at clients’ premises
  • analyse accounting/audit issues and propose solutions
  • apply professional scepticism
  • maintain audit quality standards as required by Audit Regulations and TC internal policies
  • pro-active dedication to professional growth through training and experience opportunities
  • deliver excellent client service
  • management of own work and assignments to deadlines and within budget with support of your line manager
  • work closely with the audit partners and audit managers
  • support the growth of the West Bristol office


We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • part qualified ACA or ACCA with relevant practice experience
  • audit experience from assisting with planning, undertaking detailed fieldwork, an assisting with initial completion of the audit file
  • confident and experience in dealing direct with client
  • accounting knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102, (some charity accounts/audit knowledge would be preferable, additional training can be provided if required)
  • experience of statutory accounts software and using audit software – CCH and Xero preferable
  • excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate excel skills as a minimum.
  • highly personable with excellent communication skills
  • positive ‘can do’ attitude
