The Role:
Our London West End office has an opportunity for an Audit and Accounts Senior to join the team.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- split of role is 70/80% audit and 20/30% accounting
- complete audit testing on site at clients’ premises (when government guidelines allow)
- apply professional scepticism and judgment to audit work
- maintain audit quality standards as required by Audit Regulations and TC internal policies
- pro-active dedication to professional growth through training and experience opportunities
- deliver excellent client service
- prepare statutory accounts and draft tax computations
- management of own work and assignments to deadlines and within budget to identify research and analyse accounting/audit issues and propose solutions
- work closely with the audit partner and audit manager
- support the growth of the London office
The Candidate:
We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- qualified ACA or ACCA
- 1-2+ years PQE with relevant practice experience
- strong audit experience from planning through to completion
- significant client facing audit experience
- excellent technical accounting knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
- experience of statutory accounts software and using audit software – CCH and Xero preferable
- excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office with intermediate excel skills as a minimum.
- highly personable with excellent communication skills
- positive ‘can do’ attitude
- must have own car and full driving licence
