Dave Hailey

Partner and Head of Tech & Media

Letchworth, Cambridge, Huntingdon

Dave’s a Partner and Head of the Tech & Media sector at TC Group, where he leads a team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions to businesses within the tech and media industries. As a specialist in these sectors, Dave advises clients from startups to established enterprises, providing expert guidance on corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and business sales.

Dave considers himself an advisor first and accountant second. With over 20 years’ experience in practice, as well as previously having worked in industry and the insolvency sector, Dave has a blended level of commerciality and business experience. He applies that by investing time with his clients to get to know them and their business, to understand their vision, their key drivers and their goals. In doing so, Dave’s often able to identify solutions to their problems – sometimes ones that they didn’t know they had!

In addition to his role at TC Group, Dave is the City Leader for Founders Live Cambridge, where he hosts quarterly pitch and networking events for startups and entrepreneurs. Through his involvement with Founders Live, Dave stays at the forefront of the local tech ecosystem, offering mentorship and building connections among tech innovators, entrepreneurs, and business leaders.
